New Releases for 2009
OWL: Информация для тех, кого уже сейчас интересуют грядущие прог-релизы. В общем, короткий список групп, чьи новые диски ожидаются к выходу в 2009 году. Blind Ego, Credo, Cryptic Vision, Galahad, IQ (“Frequency”), Karnataka (“The Gathering Light”, весна-лето), K 2 (рабочее название “Black Garden)), Mangrove (“Beyond Reality”), Manning ("Number Ten", февраль), Metamorphosis (“Dark”, весна), Mindfields, OSI (весна; музыканты - Kevin Moore, Jim Matheos plus PT drummer Gavin Harrison, a guest appearance by Mikael Åkerfeldt from Opeth), Queensryche (“'American Soldier”, весна), Satellite (“Nostalgia”, март), SBB (“Iron Curtain”, конец января), Shadowland, Silhouette (“Moods”), Solstice, Tinyfish, Touchstone and many, many more… Pure Reason Revolution (“Amor Vincit Omnia”, март), Steve Thorne (“Into The Ether”, апрель), ACT ("5th"), Cross (The Thrill of Nothingness”), Dream Theater, Iluzjon - поляки (“Silent Andromeda”), Leap Day (ex-members of Flamborough Head, King Eider, Nice Beavier), Magnum, Mr. So & So. THE GATHERING will release their next studio album in April 2009, called "The West Pole". This band have found a new female vocalist (replacement for Anneke van Giersbergen) and will have two female guest singers on the CD. The album, containing 9 tracks, is produced by René Rutten and will be released on their own Psychonaut Records label. The new PENDRAGON DVD will be called "Concerto Maximo" and should be released during the early months of 2009. The total running time of the DVD is approximately three hours. The main feature was recorded last year, live in Katowice, on their 30th Anniversary Tour. Artwork has been done by Killustration and is based on the Pure concept. Daedalus (“The Never Ending Illusion”), Glacier (“Ashes For The Monarch”), Phideaux (“Number Seven”), Umphrey’s Mc Gee (“The Bottom Half”).

San Sanich: Дебютный альбом, я его полгода ждал. Пока нашел в 128, но для ознакомления пойдет и это. ringo: http://www.ioearth.com/index.htm Если будет возможность - не пропустите. Несмотря на разбивку диска на песни слушается как цельное полотно. Без всяких наворотов создана целая симфония. Альбом двухдисковый. Вышеуказанное относится к первому, второй еще не слушал.

OWL: The Brazilian progressive veterans BANDA DO SOL finished recording 'Tempo', their new album that marks the return of the band to the studio after 27 years. All compositions have been written by current line-up: Moa Jr. (vocals, electric and acoustic guitars), Fram Simi (guitars), Cesinha Rodrigues (bass), Allex Bessa (keyboards) and Fábio Fernandes (drums). By the way, 'Tempo' was mixed in California/USA by none other than Billy Sherwood (ex-Yes, Circa). This was the first time this producer worked with a Brazilian band... OWL: NATIVE WINDOW - группа, составленная из бывших участников Kansas (Billy Greer, David Ragsdale, Phil Ehart and Richard Williams) - выпустила первый альбом.
